The most amazing thing happened to me today, and i must share it with all of you.

Every morning i stop off at the cathedral for some Blessed Sacrament time. I can’t receive communion yet because i am in RCIA, so I spend as much time with Jesus as i can. He has helped me with so many problems it’s not even funny, things i never knew i even had. ANYWAYS, I always pray and ask that He send me people to preach the good news, people who will listen. I ask him to use me in His divine plan, like a tool.

Today was much of the same. I went it and said my usual prayers, asked for strength in temptation, adored the sacrament, and then started my rosary. Something hit me after the first decade, like an inkling that I should go. I finished my decade, and put it away. My final prayer was along the lines of “Lord Jesus please send me out into the world to speak your word and do your will. Help me to help others”, something like that.

As usual, i walked to the back, blessed myself, and exited the main doors. In the lobby there was a man waiting. Turns out, he was waiting for me. In my head i knew exactly what was going on, why this man was here, who he was, and what was happening in his life. I rejoiced and said a quick thanksgiving, and then i was into it.

We talked for a whole hour before i had to leave to go to class. This guy was 35, typical Fr John Corapi story of debauchery, etc etc. Then, Jesus powerfully came into his life 22 days ago. It is the most wonderful experience to see a new soul being born. I went through the same thing 9 weeks ago. I feel so blessed to have become a part of this man’s journey, and truly he was sent to me.

The only way i could describe him was that he was full up with the grace of God. So much love and humility came from him. It was awe inspiring.

So prayers do get answered, sometimes faster than you think! I gave him the contact information for my priest, and we went our ways. I will remain in contact with this man. His faith is very very strong already. I ask that you all say a little prayer for him.

Praise the Lord, for all the glory and might are His. I pray that all who read this can experience what I did today, it was amazing 😃

Oh, thank you… thank you… for sharing this!!! I just finished reading and posting in another thread… called “Coming Home”. Ed has shared his wonderful news… that (like you) he also will be shortly, becoming a Catholic.

I will definately keep you and your new friend in my prayers. And I ask, that you too… please keep my sister Colleen… in your prayers. She has been away from Home… for over 30 years. I have everyone in Heaven praying for her. 😉 And I’d like to get lots more prayers for her, here as well.

What wonderful news to find on this beautiful Friday morning. I said it in Ed’s post… and I will say it here… OUR GOD IS SO WONDERFUL!!!:extrahappy:

P.S. I’m so happy to hear that you have such a loving devotion to Our Lord, in the Blessed Sacrament!

Blessed sacrament time is the best part of my day. I can only do about 30 minutes now, but every second counts. It has helped me so much to grow spiritually.

I felt so blessed to be a part of God’s plan in such an overt way, it was very special. I couldn’t stop rejoicing!

You’re right! He doesn’t waste any time. But what I’ve noticed mostly, is that he is always on time!

Revelations,
I had an experience in 2005 and while searching for answers, the Lord put me in contact with someone who went through the exact same thing as me. I notice He is gathering people who have had conversions, experience’s with Him. I think because we are weakest, needing His intervention. Speaking for myself mostly. Peace, Tim

How wonderful He is in His tender mercy!

Revelations, thank you for your wonderful story! God bless!

I see you’re from north of the border. My in-laws are from Toronto and I like to ask them how to spell their country’s name. I tell 'em it’s CND, as in, C, eh? N, eh? D, eh? Sorry, couldn’t resist.🙂

You and your new acquaintance are in our prayers.

Dan

You are so blessed to be used as a tool of the Lord and I know you feel that way too. Prayers are so powerful, I have been praying for my daughter lately, she quit practicing the faith when she left home a few years ago but when I over to see her last week on her table what did I see but a Catholic Study Bible! Yes, our prayers are certainly heard and we never know just which way the Lord will choose to use us.

You know sometimes when you are praying, you can feel a little different? Like some days the rosary is different from others. I just know that somewhere my prayers are being applied to someone, but I will never know the results. I had been thinking about this recently, and I think God had this happen to show me that my prayers have a very real consequence, in fact all our prayers do.

Like when i pray for all those about to have an abortion, God might apply that to save one life that instant in Africa and i’ll never know about it! It’s nice to have been shown that, and i absolutely had to share it with you guys 😃

Whenever you feel like not praying, rise to the test and pray anyways!

Peace be with you all
