Please excuse the topic if it seems elementary to you, but I’m trying to wrap my head around a few AHA! moments I’ve had in the last couple of days. These are mainly Trinitarian ahas! which cause a little confusion in my little head
God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one. I clearly see examples and instances of the Holy Spirit appearing in the Old Testament. Besides prophecies, was Jesus “seen”? In other words, what influence did Jesus the Son have in ancient Israel? Was his influence simply told through the prophecies as the new covenant? Was that his role?
In the New Testament we see the Holy Spirit, God, and Jesus acting together and separately to do His Will. I’m just wondering if I’m looking too hard for the Son in the OT.
Thank you!
