These are the words of the song that have attracted my attention to a TV, that was playing in the background. Song than continued - he has a hole in his hand.

My first thought was, another way how to disparage Jesus’s sacrifice aimed for small kids. But to my unpleasnat suprise, this was played on EWTN as kid’s program ment to do exact opposite!

My question is, do you think this is appropriate way how to present unmeasurable value of Jesus’s suffering for us to our kids?
 
I think you are referring to the famous Donut Man, who is a very popular Christian children’s performer. He also converted to Catholicism a year or two ago.

I am not familiar with his songs, but I wonder if you didn’t mishear it.
“Life without Jesus is like a donut because there’s a hole in the middle of your heart” is one of the lyrics, I believe.

On the other hand, maybe you are right. Perhaps the song was meant to help introduce children to His sacrifice by couching it in warm terms to which they can relate. I dunno.
 
Maybe you are right and I misheard the lyrics, I wasn’t focusing initially. In fact I hope I misheard it.
