To answer the OP:

Evidence from the JEWISH SOURCES:

Talmud, b. Sanhedrin 43a: On the eve of the Passover Yeshu [Jesus] was hanged [or crucified]. … Since nothing was brought forward in his favor he was hanged on the eve of the Passover.

The Amoa “Ulla” (Ulla was a disciple of Youchanan and lived in Palestine at the end of the third century) adds: "And do you suppose that for (Yeshu of Nazareth - Jesus) there was any right of appeal? He was a beguiler, and the Merciful One hath said: “Thou shalt not spare neither shalt thou conceal him.” It is otherwise with Yeshu, for He was near to the civil authority.

Note here that the writers of the Talmud took their job seriously. These men were Jews who did not believe that Jesus was the Messiah. They were not Christians but they documented Christ’s crucifixion.

EVIDENCE FROM ROMAN SOURCES:

Cornelius Tacitus in his Annals, xv. 44: Christus … was executed at the hands of the procurator Pontious Pilate.

Lucian of Samosata: (Christ was) the man who was crucified in Palestine

Note here that these men were professional historians. They researched their work before publishing it. They also documented Christ’s crucifixion.

Here is final proof paarsurrey, these seem to have proper citations behind them as well as a proper presentation from research of ancient culture and procedures and logical reasoning. Go to www.answering-islam.org

You said you were keen on finding truth right? There is much truth there.

I wish you the best of luck in whatever you may pursue later on. But as for the Christ died in India claim, it’s ridiculous, has very little or no evidence, where as Christ died on the cross has secular accounts as well as accounts by the jews and romans and the christians at the time. There is nothing more on this issue.

Hi

GodAllahYHWH is ultimate and absolute Truth, so search for truth cannot end, it would go on, and on and on --------------- as for us the mortals are concerned. GodAllahYHWH is great, and we are just nothing, humble sinners; unless he covers us with his absolute Love and Mercy.

May GodAllahYHWH bless you!

Thanks

The ultimate truth about Jesus is that he died in Kashmir

Hi. God is the ultimate truth. It’s written that Jesus never went to Kashmir. I offer no further evidence than this, and this alone suffices.
as for us the mortals are concerned. God is great, and we are just nothing, humble sinners; unless he covers us with his absolute Love and Mercy.

If you really want to know the truth you’ll open up your heart and accept this.

May God bless you!

Thanks

Me responding as you do!

God is Truth, Jesus is God, therefore, we received the Truth and we no longer need to search

Hi ! My Catholic Friends!

I have made it clear several times that I don’t debate, I only discuss, I don’t mind if you add something informative - which is in fact a useful and meaningful (name removed by moderator)ut whether for me or against me or my faith. I don’t mind losing or winning as long it adds to my search for truth.

Thanks

May GodAllahYHWH help you to believe as JesusYeshuaIssa believed in; and to act like Jesus acted upon.
Paarsurrey,
You neither debate nor discuss, you IRRITATE!
By the way, for your information, the dictionary meanings for DEBATE ARE:
  1. Discuss (v)
  2. Dispute
  3. Argue
  4. Deliberate
  5. Contest
When your find it difficult to handle a question, you have just one answer, that you dont want a debate. Great way to escape.

Hi

Do all these words have absolutely the same meaning?

Thanks

Hi

Do all these words have absolutely the same meaning?

Thanks
Not necessarily!
But
In the context that you use these two words, you imply that a debate is always an argument or a dispute and to discuss means a simple conversation.
The bottom line is that, as long as we don’t divert from the main point of debate like you usually do and irritate the other party there should not be any difference whether you call it a debate or a discussion. However, you use these words in the best context that suits you to run away from the truth.
May Lord Jesus Bless You !

I apoligize if the Paarsayer has alienated this discussion because he lacks the quality of empathy, LOL. I would like to, however, bring this thread back from the dead and offer some value.

There is a verse in the Bible which pertains to the crucifiction of Christ where it was mentioned that Jesus would have a similar fate as Jonah.

It is found in Matthew 12:40,

For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

In technical aspects, Jonah was alive, got swallowed by the whale and spent three nights and three days in the belly of the whale unconscious. Jonah was then spat out and was alive at the end of his ordeal and continued to live his life. So if the Bible says that Jesus would go through the same deal as Jonah then would he have not also come out alive at the end of this event?

Please be careful my dear - it is against forum rules to bring threads older than 1 year back into discussion.

I dont find the logic in diggin up old threads it is in fact directly due tho that thread i have been able to find this forum. However if such is the rule i will create a new thread.
