The lost years of Christ are mere speculation with no grounding.

There is no reference in the Bible, the writings of the Church Fathers, or Sacred Traditions that mentions this time in the life of Jesus (that I’m aware of, anyway).
 
I’ve heard this, and many other theories of many other places he supposedly visited. The there are the supposed books of these years. I think we should be humble enough to just admit, we don’t know what he was doing. We just know he wasn’t ready to start his ministry yet.

What really amuses me, is that typically these rumors center around trying to prove Christ’s divinity false. Problem I have with that is how do you explain, raising folks from the dead, walking on water, turning water to wine, raising your self from the dead (after being crusified, and stabbed with a lance), cleansing lepers among so many other things with “he took a vacation to india”. We’re to believe all that was common knowlege in India back then?

HE was definately with Mother Teresa and the Sisters of Charity in Calcuta,
so YES HE HAS BEEN TO INDIA, AND IS STILL THERE. That is allright I know plenty of Indian’s who are Holy Roman Catholic. And they are teaching our Church how to do Meditive Prayer. We are saying Thank You also… Bless you, and God Be with you.

Tell your friend this has to be false beacuse Jesus did not need to study any text. He is Wisdom, from the beginning. Hinduism believes in many gods and Jesus said there is only one God our Lord.
 
One way to look at this is by looking at what is in the Bible. Everything that Jesus did is alluded to or told by the profits of the OT. At no point was there any event that would foreshadow or allude to Jesus going to India.

As to the reincarnation junk, Jews NEVER believed in reincarnation. They did have a belief in the resurrection of the dead, but that is not the same. Not once did Jesus teach anything about reincarnation.

What is amounts to is one group claiming another’s faith in order to make it seem like they are the correct one
