I’m reading the Gospels for Lent and I keep noticing that in both single numbers and by the thousands various people keep coming to Jesus and He always heals them from their afflictions.

Is there documentation of a prophet or holy person (founder) of any the other religions doing as much?

…Maybe this is why Christianity (Catholicism) was able to grow so much so quickly?
 
The Buddha speaks of monks who could vanish and reappear, who could read minds of the people, and monks who could teach people to lead themselves from suffering.

Of these three miracles, the last, the miracle of instruction away from suffering, is considered the greatest. The first two are likened to mere cheap tricks and magic. The last one, the instruction of people from their own suffering, is truly a miracle.
