yes, God has restored many of these through his love and Goodness. God know when He first started but, i know of a few occurrences in the first few centuries of Christendom one of which is the one where through Mary’s intercession restored a limb of a person who prayed at a church dedicated to her. this has also happened through the intercession of many saints afterwords such as in the early middle ages and quite a few times a recent as the three most recent centuries,
i must warn you though a lot of this information does not come from the internet.

From what I have read about all the miracles that happened early on, it was much more frequent for the sole purpose of spreading the Gospel and to get many to believe quickly so that the Church would have the necessary momentum to spread world wide. It does appear from the early Church writings that those same kind of miracles slowed down as time went on, because that sort of mometum served its purpose for establishing its growth. Those miracles still do happen but now moreso on personal levels, for strengthening faith of people and as answers to prayers that are prayed for and answered within God’s will.

Can any of these instances be found on the Internet?

I think Jesus did restore body parts that were missing. Remember when He healed the leper? If you’ve ever seen photos of lepers, they lose their toes, fingers, and noses & sometimes ears and lips. Occasionally feet as well or at least in leprosy the feet become black and die. So depending on how severe the leprosy was in this case, He probably did restore some body parts, since He told the leper to show himself to the priest to show he was clean. Actually, he healed several lepers on that occasion, but only one returned to thank Him.🙂

I didn’t see the answer to my other question, but in some Bible translations Scripture says that the “maimed were made whole,” does this mean God restored their missing body parts?

Other that St. Anthony of Padua whom one poster said may have been a hoax, who are some other saints that have restored limbs, fingers etc.?

Sorry. Computers! If you can look up the Lourdes miracle for Jack Traynor. Most amazing! I am no longer amazed really at the intersessional power of Our Lady.

yes, many others ones unlike the possibly apocryphal holy legends concerning St. Anthony

of Padua who is a franciscan.

well, there are countless miracles that are in the truth of the Catholic church and God can only count and know everyone of them through His love.

one should also do resaerch on the saints who during and after death had bodies restored ( sometimes more than once ) and those who had life processes restored.

Thanks but two of the articles you pointed me to say that some stories about the siants are based on legend and myth, not fact, and that it wasn’t until after the 10th century that the CC became stricter with canonization.

In looking on my own for "Saints who had bodies restored, I was led to autobody websites.

Why are you skeptical of St. Anthony of Padua?
 
Is there anyone else who knows of some Saints whose intercession restored a body part?

I wouldn’t doubt more could be identified given the different diseases cured (as was noted with leprosy).

Though one thought crossed my mind…as one may identify at points in the Gospel of Mark – Jesus was known to order witnesses to tell no one of the miracles they saw. I’d like to think a few would have been dutiful enough and told no one.
