Anyone have/read any of it yet?
Thoughts/opinions?
Is the book available on-line? If so, where?

No, today. It’s not released until May, actually.
The Jesus of Nazareth book that I saw many years ago had some stuff in it that was definitely unorthodox. Obviously that stuff didn’t get into the miniseries.

I believe this is the book about which this thread is the subject. Are you talking about the Franco Zepherelli (spelling?) mini-series?

As I understand it, both posters are correct in the following sense: it was released in Italy today but will not be released in the United States until mid-May.No, today.
Authors (plural)? Are you talking about the book written by Pope Benedict XVI ?I heard the **authors **interviewed on TV - Today Show or something like it. It sounded very Jesus Seminar-y. As in, discounting most of the miraculous things in the gospels as later additions.
That said, the scripture scholar involved said he wanted it to be an antidote to the totally implausible drivel from Dan Brown and The DaVinci Code. In that, at least it would be historically plausible.
I’d imagine there are a fair few books around with that title. Let’s be clear, this thread is discussing Pope Benedict’s new book.Authors (plural)? Are you talking about the book written by Pope Benedict XVI ?
