Jesus' Own Claim to be the Son of God

Where did Jesus Himself make the claim to be God’s Son?

The answer is right there, in God’s preserved words.

In John 10:36, Jesus said, “Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?”

Obviously, Jesus was being accused of blasphemy for claiming to be God’s Son. Where did He say it? In the previous chapter, John 9:35-38, where Jesus had just healed the man born blind, and the Pharisees cast the healed man out of the synagogue.

“Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshiped him.”

“Only God can receive worship, right?”
Only as God could Jesus, who cannot lie, receive worship."

The rabbi who authored “A Rabbi Talks With Jesus” came to the exact same conclusion.

To paraphrase, he said, “I have come to realize that only God could be making these claims!”

But in the end he decided to stay with Israel and not follow Jesus. Which I do not blame him for nor think badly of him; he is bound to obey the First Commandment and he, in good conscience, did not wish to disobey. This is so for many Jews in Jesus’ time.

Quran totally negates that Jesus was God or Son of God or Son of Man or Son of Adam. Quran only mentions Jesus son of Mary; and that is it to it.

Catholics don’t have full account of his life.

We cannot ever think of in your terms to make Jesus and Mary what you have stated in your post.

You could make your faith strong by providing it with eyes of research; you need not have a weak blind faith. Only you have to make a little effort.

Well, you have said that Jesus did not say any of that. You also say that he did not die on the Cross, when he, his mother, and all his followers did. Maybe they were all confused

Quran mentions essentials of Jesus life; like it mentions of Moses and Abraham.Quran is not a book of history; it is more than that as it mentions all and full that is required for a man’s guidance in physical, moral and spiritual realms. Quran provides claims as well as the **reasons **on all problems of life; it needs nothing to complete it, it is complete in itself already.

NTBible does not reach to the level of a history book even. It fails to record that Jesus did not die a cursed death on Cross; his life was saved and he died a natrual and peaceful death in India. When Jesus disappeared from Judea; he emerged in India. Indian historic resources; both of Hindus and Buddhists record this. That is why I say that NTBible is an incomlete record of events of life of Jesus. May be you understand it.
