Oh no, not the whole “
miracle of sharing”
all over again!
Let’s review the gospel accounts, shall we?

Here’s the account as related by Mark and by John:
And the apostles are gathered together to Jesus, and reported to Him all, what they had done and what they had taught. And He said to them, “
Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while” (for those coming and those going were many, and not even to eat had they time); and they went away in the boat to a deserted place by themselves. And they saw them departing, and many recognized them; and on foot they ran together from all the cities and arrived ahead of them. And having come forth, He saw a great multitude, and He was moved with compassion on them, for they were like sheep not having a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things.
And now the hour being advanced, His disciples, having come near to Him, say, “
This place is deserted and the hour is now advanced. Send them away so that they can go into the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat.” Now answering, He said to them, “
You give them something to eat.” And they say to Him, “
Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give it to them to eat?” And He said to them, “
How many loaves do you have? Go, see!” And when they found out, they say, “
Five, and two fishes.”
And He commanded them all to recline in groups on the green grass, and they reclined, ‘plot by plot’, by hundreds and by fifties. And having taken the five loaves and the two fishes, having looked up to the heaven, He blessed and broke the loaves, and was giving them to [His] disciples that they may set before them; and He divided the two fishes among them all. And they all ate and were satisfied, and they took up of the broken pieces twelve baskets full, and of the fishes. And those who had eaten [of the loaves] were five thousand men.
-Mark 6:30-44
After these Jesus went away to the other side of the sea of Galilee (of Tiberias), and there was following Him a great multitude, because they were seeing His signs which He was performing on the sick. And Jesus went up on the mount, and He was there sitting with His disciples. Now the Passover was near - the festival of the Judeans.
Then Jesus, having lifted up His eyes and having seen that a great multitude was coming to Him, says to Philip, “
Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” Now this He said, testing Him, for He Himself had known what He was intending to do. Philip answered Him, “
Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not enough for them, for each one to get a little.”
One of his disciples - Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter - says to Him, “
There is a boy here who has five loaves of barley and two small fishes, but these, what are they for so many?” Then Jesus said, “
Make the people recline.” Now there was much grass in the place. The men then reclined, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves, and having given thanks He distributed to those reclining; likewise also from the small fishes, as much as they wished. And when they were satisfied, He says to His disciples, “
Gather together the broken pieces that are left over so that nothing may be lost.” Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve handbaskets with the fragments of the five loaves of barley which were left over by those who had eaten.
Then the men having seen the sign that Jesus performed, said, “
This is truly the Prophet who is coming to the world!” Jesus therefore, having known that they are about to come and take him by force to make him king, went back again to the mountain by Himself alone.
-John 6:1-15
There’s nothing in the text which states that the crowd hid foodstuffs under their clothes or whatnot. Jesus must have been too stupid to not realize this and tell the disciples that THEY give them something to eat; I mean, being both fully divine and fully human and all, you’d expect He’d know those things.
