Jesus said in scripture that when he came back, the world would end. And yet, he has appeared to people such as Saint Faustina. Is not him visiting people in physical form technically “returning”?
 
In my understanding, it’s sort of like the President setting up an official visit for the House of Representatives. Does that mean when he visits the office of one of the members that he has shown up in his official capacity? He still has an official visit to make.
 
Matthew 24:
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Jesus return will be seen by everyone ! So we must be ready ! Read acts 2:38 and do it for your salvation !!!

That quote you just gave me is a prophesy for when the Romans would come and massacre the Jews, not the apocalypse. That entire passage is on it. Look it up. I was quite surprised.

Jesus also said that no man knows the time when He will return Aparitions of Christ are not the same as physically being with someone in the same plain of existence. His spirit spoke to the saints minds and Christ put them into ecstacies in which their minds were opened to seeing the vision of Him.

And it is like Christ had told man, ''No one’s knows the time or day of the Son of Man’s return only God the Almighty Father knows the time and place when the Son of Man will return. God Bless,

Like most prophecies, it has more than one fulfillment. A reputable interpretation of Matthew is that the Roman destruction of Jerusalem was the immediate fulfillment and a type for the final cataclysm.
 
Mathew 28:20 (KJV)

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
