Jesus saves....but not from consequences

I hate this whole, having to live with the consequences from my own sins. Why couldn’t Jesus also erase this part of our sinfulness?
 
If sins did not have consequences, why would we want to stop sinning?
 
If you consumed a lot of drugs recreationally and that destroyed your body. Would God still be liable , even if you confessed your sins?

Or if you had an extra marital affair and then parented a child, it would still be your responsibility to take care of the child?

God does give the grace and healing though to carry through it.And carry through to completion.
 
Well that pretty much sums up human nature in the world we live in today. You see and hear about it so often in our society. It’s not my fault, so and so made me do it, seems to be a common phrase anymore. How often have you seen someone run a stop sign, get in an accident and try to find fault in the person they hit. The person knows they were at fault they just don’t want to have to pay for the accident. (the consequences)

Like the person above stated without the consequences there is no reason to avoid sinning.

Instead of hating the fact that we are responsible for the consequences of our sins, maybe we should be thankful that Jesus loves us enough to allow us to pay for the windows that we break. That seems way better than the alternative.

Because we wouldn’t need Jesus without the struggle; we would be fine and feel invincible. Our suffering or consequences as you put it-- I call it life-- draws us closer and makes us rely on Christ.
 
Consider that Jesus, although sinless, suffered.

Jesus was not a crucifier, but the crucified.

Freewill. As much as Christ forgives me for making foolish choices He cannot change the consequences because it was my choice. It sucks. Once you say or do something, it is out in the universe. Think of throwing a pebble into water and watch the ripples.

It is wrong but it is human nature. No one wants to take the blame for wrongdoing. It is especially worse if both parties are wrong. One person may always have to say sorry first for the relationship to thrive. Some people are arrogant enough to honestly never think they could do a thing wrong. What is the alternative?

Simple…don’t sin! If you can manage to accept the concept of consequences, you will go far in this world.
