The Second Coming.

Matt. 24

**1. And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple
  1. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things" verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
  2. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, ell us, when shall these things be" and what shall be the sign of they coming, and of the end of the world?
  3. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
  4. For many will come in my name, saying I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
  5. And yes shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
  6. For nation shall riis against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
  7. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
  8. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
  9. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
  10. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall decieve many.
  11. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
  12. But he that shall endure unot the end, the same shall be saved.
  13. And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
  1. Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains:
17 Le him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the workd to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
  1. And except those days should be shortened, the should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sack those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any may shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
  1. Beholh, I have told you before.
  2. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in tghe secret chambers; believe it not.
  3. For as lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall the coming of the Son if man be.
  4. For weresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
  5. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
  1. Now learen a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all things be fulfilled.
  1. Heaven and earth shall pass away, by my words shall not pass away.**
There is much more, but you should get the idea from this.

Christ hasn’t returned, but his return is very very very close. Are we prepared?

Hi

Jews of the time of Jesus did not accept him; Jesus did not fullfill the Signs of a Christ, as the Jews believed. The result is that none of their thinking has come yet; they only wait and wait.

The Catholics should not be that unlucky. Maybe they deny and wait; the one who was to come has already come, in my opinion.

i love Jesus and Second Coming 1835-1908.

Thanks

Here is how we will know it is the Lord, if this hasn’t happened the he hasn’t returned.

1Thess. 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

If the “Christ” you worship did not come in this way he is not the Christ of God.

Since this have not happened, Jesus has not come yet in His second coming. Quite clear that.

paarsurrey, Christ returns at the end of the world. Everyone alive will see Him at that moment in the same way as everyone can see lightening that flashes across the sky “from east to west”. The dead will rise from their graves, the sea will give up its dead, hell will give up its captives and all people will be Judged and the Judgement of all will be confirmed and seen by all to be just.
Those people who live in Christ, both living and dead, will rise up with Christ to heaven. And the world will end.
The End

Actually not the end, but a new beginning with Christ as our King ever to be with us. Hallelujah!!

Naturellement.
But a beginning needs an end… and also for dramatic effect… literary asthetics, etc., etc. …The End.

Hi

English is not my first language; kindly explain the words “Naturellement”. Also please express you post again clearly for me to understand; if you may please.

Thanks

Firstly, paarsurrey, please dont ever alter my quotes. If you wish to correct something I said, quote me, then add your correction outside of the quote box

What u just did makes me look as if I said all that in the earlier post

OK, so u believe Imam Mahdi was the 2nd Coming

How did he change the world as we know it?

What a “nice” opinion, paarsurrey! But no matter how “nice” your opinion may seem, remember paarsurrey, there are three sides in opinions: 1) Your opinion, 2) The other’s opinion, 3) The true opinion.

Paarsurrey,
The quotes that have been taken out of the bible on this thread, what do you think of them?
Do you not feel that Jesus is giving you a clear warning here?

Hi

Jesus never wrote anything as NTBible, in my opinion . Jesus never dictated any thing as NTBible, in my opinion. Jesus never authorised anybody to write for him as NTBible.

When Jesus had gone to India; then Paul/s perhaps got compiled something which is known as NTBible, in my opinion.

I think now you understand that the quotes given by you cannot be ascribed to Jesus legitimately, in my opinion.

Jesus could assert himself for his claims and reasons; he needed no Paul/s, in my opinion; I love Jesus for his wisdom. Jesus feared nobody except GodAllahYHWH whose humble servant Jesus was, in my opinion.

Thanks

Hi

This is your opinion; I think there can be many dimensions to opinion, in my opinion.

Hi

Second Coming 1835-1908 did what was done in the First Coming 2000 years ago; by peaceful prayers, in my opinion. Don’t you believe in prayers and the role they play in the world?

Yes. You have said this all before, but redundancy in statements doesn’t make you correct, nor does it assert your opinion with any more merit than it had before.

You wish to assert the point of view that Christ’s second coming has come, but you do so with no merit only opinion. I hate to tell you, but everyone has an opinion. If you want to try and disregard the writing of the New Testament because you don’t believe in them. Fine. Then bring something substantial to the table to show us your point.

So, better back up your opinion so it would stand to the test of truth. Otherwise, keep your opinion to yourself.

You know what they say about opinions, and look like this guy’s got one of the biggest ones I’ve ever seen:rolleyes:

paar, like the others have said, if you can’t bring something supportive to the table then all you are doing is blowing hot air, it means nothing. You say that Jesue went to India, so tell me, what of the witnesses that were with him at his curcifixion? What of the witnesses that saw him after his crucifixion and were with him for 40 days? What of the witnesses that SAW him taken up into the clouds after the 40 days? These are eye witnesses paar, of the eye witnesses were the ones that recorded, in writing, these events. It wouldn’t be a problem if only a couple claimed to witness these events but that isn’t the case, there were hundreds that witnessed these things. In light of this, your opinion is about as creditable as booger up my nose.
