Since baptism is ordinarily required for salvation, *why not *baptize infants? The Christian sacrament of Baptism was instituted by Jesus himself, when he was an adult, so it wasn’t even around yet when he was an infant. Besides, as the second person of the Trinity, Jesus didn’t *need *to be baptized.
