Explain Jesus’s genome

We know that Jesus was 100% human. And 100% God. But we also know that every human person has a genome which defines every aspect of the person. The conception process of the union of the father’s genome and mother’s genome is complex, dominant traits get the choice as they combine. But let’s assume half the genome comes from the mother and half from the father.

We also know that tradition of the magisterium states that the Holy Spirit was instrumental in the conception of Jesus in the Virgin Mary, presumably furnishing the male half.

In creating the male half of the genome, in that sequence of 3 billion G-C-T-A Nucleotides, did God average out the whole population of genomes, or just pick one?

I suppose it is a mystery.

Hi,

God had not revealed to us how He drew from Mary’s gene pool; only that He did.
