It’s true that Judea and Galilee were not merged into “Syria Palaestina” by the Romans until the 2nd century AD, but references to that region by a name cognate to “Palestine” go back to Greek and even Egyptian writings long before Jesus’ earthly life.

It may be a political hot-button now, but referring to that general region as “Palestine” (or earlier versions of what became that word) is a very old thing indeed.

Respectfully opinion only. Also in Jesus time and before Jesus time, there was no such place, what we know today and called the Middle East??>>>> but all was part of Africa? Even Israel was much much larger then it is today, the bible gives a full description and boundaries of Israel, does it not?

Must be a reason why she is called Mother Africa? Nile River, 4,000 miles long ( Nile River only River in the world, that travels up stream>that is amazing wonder on its own!!! ) was known as the Transportation Highway of the world at that time, Trades, Spices, Minerals, Raw materials, Silks, Salts, Gold, Silver, All Natural resources, travelers from all walks in life, also exchanged knowledge through travel also, from other travelers, how also Christianity spreads?

Lions come from Africa right, not Rome in the time of Jesus and Elephants were used also for transportation and in wars, unearth symbols found, believe in Jerusalem interesting is it not?

History goes with Beliefs, every Nation has their History, cultures, rituals, traditions, knowledge within and their own belief etc? Why so many gods also? Interesting and stand to be corrected ( how we learn?) but much can be googled all out there photos etc. Ethiopia also has many icons of Jesus and Mary also do they not? Peace

Respectfully in pondering. With what all Nations are going through today, throughout the world, what we will all look like>> 500 years from now, when photos are taken then? waoo! I really love all those who has contributed, those who will still contribute and all your contributions, even if it does not matter what colour has Jesus, your contributions will lead people to many things and give many the ability to teach others what they do not know.

You will be surprised that some black race may later turn to white why some white race might also turn to black and some brown might also turn otherwise in another 2000 years to come because there are creams, there are surgery, there are tattoos, there are many ways to turn yourself to whatever you want and even turn you child to any colour at birth soon.

Jesus concern, can be found within>> All his Preaching, Teaching, Actions and Deeds done? Within His Spoken Word given for all to hear? Jesus was not concerned about skin tones was he? Skin tone was not Jesus concern was it, for HE created All? Why maybe HE gives us the 2nd Commandment?? Peace

However, in one very limited sense it does matter. It matters that Christ was a real person. Like every other person, he did look “some” way. He did not change (except for natural maturing) or look different to different people—because that would make him not-human. There is also the spiritual importance that he was a descendant of Abraham and a member of the Jewish nation. The spiritual significance of that is essential.

Just trying to give context to the appearance and features of a Mediterranean person, Jesus Christ. I have no idea what you are trying to convey by the points you are making about Mother Africa & Noah’s Ark.
