Jewish Priestly blessing and John Paul II

Ok, so recently I read that Benjamin Blech and two other Rabbis went to the Vatican and gave John Paul II a Jewish Priestly blessing in 2005. So, does this mean that they accept the Roman Catholic as the new Israel since: the Catholic Church),is modeled after David’s Kingdom, with a huge temple (the Vatican), a prime minister (our Pope), a sacred tabernacle containing the Ark of the Covenant (our tabernacle containing the Eucharist), officers who take care of the kingdom (our Cardinals and bishops), high priests (our priests), a Passover Meal (our Eucharist), and a Queen Mother (The Blessed Virgin Mary). I’m wondering ok?
 
Could you substantiate the story please with a link? I’d like to know more about it.

I would imagine from your description it was probably something to do with the high regard some Jewish people had for Blessed John Paul II as he worked wonders with inter-faith relations.

I don’t think so. Also…neither link provided anything. One was not found and the other blank. The Jewish people still consider themselves to be chosen…as they are. Since they do not accept Christ…why would any of the rest matter?
