What are the reasons for jews from neuturei karta to be against Israel?

All the great rabbis who in accordance with Jewish Law opposed Zionism at its inception did not do so merely due to consideration of the secular lifestyles of the then Zionist leaders or even for their opposition to Torah heritage and rejection of its values and practices, but due to the fact that the entire concept of a Jewish state is in direct conflict with a number of Judaism’s fundamentals.

Condemnation of and segregation from anything connected to or affiliated with the so-called modern day “State of Israel” is based on the Talmud, the key fundamental doctrine of the Oral Tradition handed down by G-d to Moses on Mt. Sinai. The Talmud in Tractate Kesubos (p. 111a), teaches that Jews shall not use human force to bring about the establishment of a Jewish state before the coming of the universally accepted Moshiach (Messiah from the House of David). Furthermore it states that we are forbidden to rebel against the nations and that we should remain loyal citizens and we shall not attempt to leave the exile which G-d sent us into, ahead of time.

However, I think we should distinguish between the Jews who know GOD from Israel as a “secular country” or the Israelites who follow the secular law instead of GOD’s law.

A person who knows GOD would not accept what has happened yesterday near the Israeli shore…

I guess they are sort of in the same boat as muslims. Most people think that if you’re muslim you carry a hatred for anything or anyone NOT muslim, which is totally inaccurate. I guess that even though they are Israeli and Jewish, they would rather have peace than war. Smart men! 👍

Yes I agree with you.Smart men…i once saw one of them,they are very religious,and it seems to me the worst zionist and fighters for Israel are atheist or very secular.The religious jews have much more in common with muslims,more then with the christians

The title of this thread is confusing…how can Jews be against Israel?

I know Jews here in this country who do not want to go back there. But I also remember the nuns telling us that Scripture said that the Jews would return…and that the Lord said they would always be His chosen people even though they rejected Christ. The great endearment of the Jewish people has always been the Decalogue in the Ten Commandments and the Covenant of the Land.

It is so tragic that people there cannot see each other’s right to exist.
 
This sect of Jews simply do not believe that the Messiah, Jesus has come so occupation of Israel is simply premature.

They are waiting for GOD to restore the Jews to the land.

GOD opened the doors of this land to the Jews in 1948 through the UN.
 
That is smart…God did indeed bring about their return to the Covenant of the Land, and the Lord will restore Israel…and I believe, there will also be peace and well being for all people.

Every faith has opposing viewpoints. Would you believe there are Muslims that believe Christ WAS actually crucified, and that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad fulfilled his 2nd coming?

God wouldn’t approve of what happened to those people, either, bosnian_muslim.
