Jews don’t consider Jesus as the Messiah or G_d because…
First of all, Jesus was not a prophet. and “God is not a mortal” (Numbers 23:19).

Grace and Peace,

Our teaching of the Incarnation and the teachings of Jesus being Fully-God and Fully-Man in a hypostatic Union seems to refute the simplicity of your rebuttal.

🤷

Your teachings of Incarnation and concept of Fully-G_d and Full-Man is totally against the teachings of Holy Torah and all Prophets.

Now where is the question of refuting when what you beleive in doesn’t even exist?

Grace and Peace,

Unfortunately such a vague claim seems to little force on the weight of our Lord and Saviour’s testimony. Do you offer anything elses which might be considered persuasive evidence?

Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on which side of the argue one find’s oneself claims such as these simply crash on the rock of our faith. I can appreciate you, as a devout jew, for waxing triumphant in your faith claims but you must understand that there are very strong reasons for us gentiles to humbly accept Jesus’ offer of a New Covenant in faith and hope. Mere claims such as those which have been offered seem like very ill-prepared to cast doubt on the faithful of Christ and His Church.

I say again, the Fully-G_d and Full-Man idea is totally against the teachings of Holy Torah and all Prophets. It is not Jewish.

A Jew can never accept any such thing which is is totally against the teachings of Holy Torah and all Prophets and against common sense.

Grace and Peace,

Again this is simply a claim that you are making. Would you admit that it would be wise for me to desire evidence for your claim before I accept it as true? Would you accept a claim from me without any evidence? If not, then why would you simply make claims without offering evidence?

The Apostles were ‘all’ Jews and many died martyr’s for their faith. How can you say that a Jew can never accept any such thing when we have such martyrs as the Apostles? Perhaps you are projecting your own cultural biases into this discussion… 😊

Judaism doesn’t demand that everyone must convert to Judaism.

The Holy Torah is for all humanity, whether Jewish or not.

But you or any other Christian cannot twist our Holy Torah to “prove” your demi-god idea because it is like a mockeryand fooling with G_d to beleive in such a non-existant demi-god.

For gentiles, when Holy Torah does offer a righteous way and path to follow which is known as ‘Seven Laws of Noah’, then why you need to play with G_d and turned Him into a demi-god first then claim unHoly things on behalf of this non-existant thing, which is a severe insult of His Majesty and Oneness?

Many of the Apostles died martyrs for their faith? How interesting, your book tells us that same “apostles” fled and left your demi-god alone when his “life” was in seriously dangeour?

The followers of David Koresh too died (burned alive, I should say)… what does it mean to you then?

Mr. Koresh was a demi-god just because his followers were with him until they were burned alive and did not give up?

Excuse me, but did you just compare Jesus Christ to David Koresh?

I try to be as charitable as possible, but posts like that must go against point 7 of the conduct rules for this forum (non-Catholics are welcome, but should be respectful of the faith of the Catholics). Please refrain from further slander when expressing your disagreements.

Perhaps a case can be made that the Noahide Covenant was directed for all humanity but the Covenant of Moses was directed toward the Jewish people and only later opened to gentiles after the rejection of Jesus Christ as St. Paul is clear to point out.
But you or any other Christian cannot twist our Holy Torah to “prove” your demi-god idea because it is like a mockeryand fooling with G_d to beleive in such a non-existant demi-god.
It is very clearly taught that the Incarnation is not a ‘demi-god’ but the Logos in the flesh. I would ask you very kindly to restrain yourself from insulting our faith and recognize that we do not attempt to twist or mock your traditions but we have our own which clearly teach us that Jesus Christ was God Incarnate. He opened the gates of paradise for us and we give Him praise and glory. Please dialogue with us in kindness and respect and we will have a full and healthy discussion. God Willing.

Again you accuss us of things which you have not established. I see claims without evidence. It would be fair for you to perhaps layout your argument for me.

Following external laws without first knowing one’s motives cannot produce ‘righteousness’. Only through a proper ‘interior’ motive can actions be deemed ‘righteous’. These laws are written on the hearts of every human being and they whisper to us of our Creator. When we walk in faith and fidelity we ‘share’ in the goodness that is God’s alone to claim but as Children of God we can share in His goodness. Amen.

This is the real distinction between Christainity and Islam and even Judaism. Our faith is one of the Interior Master and not the exterior law of either the Jews or Islam.

Christ calls us to a personal encounter with the Divine and in their encounter participation with and in the Godhead. It is in this that everlasting life lies.

The Holy Torah was in existance before your New Testament thing was written down by a group of people whose most of them were and are unknown till this day.

Why me or any Jew - whose book and his belief in One G_d was not challenged nor adultrated prior to your Christian idea (Church idea, I should say) - should offer evidence for an unHoly, non-existant idea of demi-god?

It is common sense that worshipping more than one ( even just two “parts” of G_d ) is considered idolatory.

Are you not aware of the fact that during the Inquisitions and throughout history, Jews gave up their precious lives rather than convert and live to commit one of the three cardinal sins?

Because just transgressing from such a harsh unpardonable form of idolatory of worshipping a Christian non-existant demi-god is not enough. A Jew must give up his/her life if he/she is forced to accept it.

I am really surprised that you are asking me (Jews) to offer evidence to disprove post-Holy Torah and the prophets idea…!!!

Take a look other threads how Catholics here are behaving while “debating” people of other faith. It seems that only Catholics are alowed to slander when expressing their disagreements.

Grace and Peace,

Yes, this is true, the Apostles did flee when Jesus was captured but if you continue to study our testimony of faith you will read that these same frightened follows are later empowered with the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost and are strengthened in their faith to eventually suffer and die for their saviour.
The followers of David Koresh too died (burned alive, I should say)… what does it mean to you then?
Unfortunately, we cannot know because we cannot be sure that they individuals chose to die or if they were coerced to remain in the compound.

With the Apostle of Christ we know there was no coercion. We also know that the convictions of the Apostles never faltered after Pentecost and such should give us pause when questioning their believe in their Savior.
Mr. Koresh was a demi-god just because his followers were with him until they were burned alive and did not give up?
I am unaware of any miraculous claims with Mr. Koresh and I must ask you again to restrain your mocking of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This is very insulting to us and I kindly ask that you dialogue with us in a way that respects us and our deeply held convictions. I, personally, not mind you offering argument and evidence that might cause us to question the divinity of our Lord but merely insulting our beliefs don’t have much weight to do this.

I must ask you again to restrain your mocking of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The very icon in the end of your every post, is unHoly and a severe mockery with your own “god” because you are showing him almost naked like a man and you are calling him “LORD” and you are preaching us to worship that naked man…!!!

Your teachings of Incarnation and concept of Fully-G_d and Full-Man is totally against the teachings of Holy Torah and all Prophets.
As your Talmud interprets them. But we walk not in the way of the Pharisees, Sadducees and Scribes, but in the way of the Messiah’s Apostles.
Now where is the question of refuting when what you beleive in doesn’t even exist?
We’ve had a few threads on this:

As a physical descendent of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who has accepted our Messiah, what is the question of refuting when what you believe in doesn’t even exist?

to humbly accept Jesus’ offer of a New Covenant in faith and hope. Mere claims such as those which have been offered seem like very ill-prepared to cast doubt on the faithful of Christ and His Church.

I say again, the Fully-G_d and Full-Man idea is totally against the teachings of Holy Torah and all Prophets. It is not Jewish.
But it is Hebrew, and Biblical.
A Jew can never accept any such thing which is is totally against the teachings of Holy Torah and all Prophets and against common sense.
As the Talmud claims all three. The links I have provided above shows the problems there.

Judaism doesn’t demand that everyone must convert to Judaism.
But Christianity does, which is how Abraham becomes the Father of the Faithful and of the Nations.
The Holy Torah is for all humanity, whether Jewish or not.
Yes, the Pentateuch is. But in the above posted threads, some Jews seem to dispute this.
But you or any other Christian cannot twist our
I am part of we, and I have the scar to prove it:D
Holy Torah to “prove” your demi-god idea because it is like a mockeryand fooling with G_d to beleive in such a non-existant demi-god.
He said “I AM.” And proved it.
For gentiles, when Holy Torah does offer a righteous way and path to follow which is known as ‘Seven Laws of Noah’,
Yes, St. James the Brother of God who sat on David’s Throne in Jerusalem set this, with St. Peter and all the Church in the Council of Jerusalem. Acts 15.
then why you need to play with G_d and turned Him into a demi-god first then claim unHoly things on behalf of this non-existant thing, which is a severe insult of His Majesty and Oneness?
He called out “This is My Beloved Son. Listen to Him!”

The Holy Torah was in existance before your New Testament thing was written down by a group of people whose most of them were and are unknown till this day.
Perhaps but before the Holy Torah existed, there was the spoken covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. This was a faith of the interior law and the promise of God. Should you reject what Moses later handed down because this promise was first?
Why me or any Jew - whose book and his belief in One G_d was not challenged nor adultrated prior to your Christian idea (Church idea, I should say) - should offer evidence for an unHoly, non-existant idea of demi-god?
You appear to be ignoring Jewish history…

And again I must ask that you show ‘me’ respect. I have not offered any offense toward you nor your faith. Is it not just that your restrain yourself and give me the respect that I show you?
It is common sense that worshipping more than one ( even just two “parts” of G_d ) is considered idolatory.
God and knowledge of His Nature is not ‘common’ knowledge. We can discussion this in great detail if you are open to it…
Are you not aware of the fact that during the Inquisitions and throughout history, Jews gave up their precious lives rather than convert and live to commit one of the three cardinal sins?
Please know that not every Christian is Catholic and neither should all of Christendom be blamed for the actions of Rome or Spain.
Because just transgressing from such a harsh unpardonable form of idolatory of worshipping a Christian non-existant demi-god is not enough. A Jew must give up his/her life if he/she is forced to accept it.
So it is your belief that ‘all’ Christians are damned? What of others who are not Jewish?
I am really surprised that you are asking me (Jews) to offer evidence to disprove post-Holy Torah and the prophets idea…!!!
I am not asking your for evidence to disprove your Jewish Faith. I am asking you to offer evidence for the claims you are making here.

If someone enters another man’s house and begins to make claims. Is it reasonable to ask the guest to produce evidence for those claims?

I have not come to your forum and done this. Why do you feel my request is so outlandish?

Many of the Apostles died martyrs for their faith? How interesting, your book tells us that same “apostles” fled and left your demi-god alone when his “life” was in seriously dangeour?
Yes, you would think that they would revise the story and make themselves look heroic.😛
The followers of David Koresh too died (burned alive, I should say)… what does it mean to you then?
Certainly not as much as the Maccabbees.
Mr. Koresh was a demi-god just because his followers were with him until they were burned alive and did not give up?
You just pointed out that Christ’s followers gave up, so what’s the comparison?
