Now you are sounding like Judas. The kind of friend that turns on you. You go do whatever you have to do the Church will prevail.

Not speaking up to defend the Catholic church has now been turned into “persecuting Jesus”? How do you arrive at that one?

BTW, certain individuals on this forum seem to like attacking me, and giving false insinuations about me. And attacking Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi as well.

Yes, Rabbi Zalman used LSD…ONE time, several decades ago. I know Catholics who committed sins of calumny and detraction as recently as a few hours ago, yet claim to be “good Catholics”. I also know people offline who, while claiming to be churchgoing Catholics, openly admit they use birth control.

So, shall the judging begin at the church first, as the NT says it will? I seem to recall someone saying something once about “Scribes, pharisees, hypocrites”…

Speaking of this, I wonder, have the Catholics here ever been taught of the seriousness of the sins of calumny and detraction? Do they know what they are?

Do they realize it is still a sin even when used against Jews?

I don’t know how many times defrocked-rabbi Schachter-Shalomi used LSD. I do know he went around to college campuses encouraging young people to drop acid as a way of getting closer to God. I have a problem with that.

As far as the transvestite/gay lifestyle is concerned, which Schachter-Shalomi still supports – I’ll let people make up their own minds.

But believe me – asking Jewish teenagers to drop acid is not mainstream Judaism. In fact, it is anti-Semitism.
