" Yesterday, was the 85th anniversary of Social Security and Joe Biden did NOT give a speech about it. Instead, that task was performed from Basement Central by his wife and Chief Handler, Jill Biden.

I know this is another thread on Joe but why is Jill doing the speech from the same basement studio and why does Joe not do the celebration speech?

It will come out as we rev up the campaign season. Dementia isn’t something you recover from, especially doing multiple campaign stops a day. If Joe only does a couple orchestrated stops a week, that will also be telling.

There are usually pieces like this on the spouse of the candidates. They usually are partners in these campaigns. Melania wasn’t (which is just fine, who can blame her) and hence didn’t get those sort of pieces written about her.

Jill Biden did a an almost 2 hour speech/program on the 85th anniversary of social security.
