Does any one see any connection between Jinn and the watchers post flood?

This is very brief,

What are Jinn?

Jinn are spirit beings that were against G-d in Islam. They are said to be able to take form.

What are the Watchers?

They are best described in the book of Enoch (pbuh) but are also mentioned in other books. They are oft referred to as giants of old that sinned as they desired the daughters of men. They were to be drowned in the flood of Noah (pbuh), of course you cant drown the spirit only the flesh.

Both i have been told taught humans things they were not permitted to.
