Please help!

My wife (who is Korean and Catholic) and I (also Catholic) have been offered a translation job (Korean to English) that would cover our rent for 3 months.

But the book is based on a universal principle for the world, written by a former leader of the Unification Church (Moonies). There are references to Christ and the saints that are not especially critical but not either recognising the Catholic truth as I know it.

Our names would not be on the book. But would we be spiritually endorsing it or promoting it by translating?

For what it’s worth, the book is unlikely to receive a wide audience as that is not their intention.

I see no problem translating any book. Reading is educational. I’m glad some books were translated to English, the Koran is something I’ve read as a translated book to educate myself on Islam.
