I am looking for work and have been granted a phone interview today.

I have been having anxiety as usual with a job interview, just normal jitters. I am unsure there seem to be a few potential ‘red flags’. (Nothing immoral.)

Please pray for me, for discernment and courage, and all those looking for work and those who need good employees.

Blessed Mother, please intercede for us.
Hold the sorrowful-
Mother and love the weary, abused, neglected
or forgotten among us-
Give your aid to all needing help or healing-
Assist those who are sick, in pain or suffering-
Be with those needing peace-
Console the lonely or brokenhearted-
Comfort the lost or hopeless-
Strengthen the fearful-
Guard the unborn-
Pray for those who are dying or who have died-
Soften those with hardened hearts-
Enlighten those who do not yet see truth-
Help us be brave enough to let our hurt and anger go-
Show us the way to do the right thing-
Protect those who are in danger, and
Guide us from every evil.
May all who keep your sacred commemoration
experience the might of your assistance.

Thank you for your prayers. I did ok. I am going to continue to pray for discernment and courage and keep those who are in need of good employment and good employees in my prayers.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Prayer to St. Joseph for the Unemployed

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

Blessed St. Anthony, in life you were ever mindful
of the needs of the afflicted, consuming yourself in
the service of God and for the good of souls. You
were the enemy of idleness and a tireless worker in
the vineyard of the Lord.

Beseech God to grant @egretps a suitable job,
which may procure a decent livelihood, and a means
of personal sanctification and service to others.
