Job Interview horrors

Lol. I guess I was just complaining and wondering if anyone else had similar experiences, which it seems they do.

Everyone that has done a job search for any length of time can relate to stupid and nonsensical questions asked by the interviewer.

Here is the worst part of that…
Is the interviewer waiting for me to correct it? Or will they be insulted?
should I just let it go…

Sometimes you can’t outguess the interviewer. Sometimes you might just have to ask, “what do you mean by that?”

And of course not all job interviews are so formal. A friend of mine has a daughter who one day just got dressed up and said, “I’m going to go out looking for a job.” She went into a restaurant and asked if she could fill out an application. The lady at the counter said, “Wait, I’ll just have you talk to the manager.”

The manage came out, asked about prior jobs, talked to her for a few minutes, and said “Okay, you can start tomorrow.”

Now it was a waitress job and only paid about $2/hr. But after a working a few days, she was making more in tips than I could have imagined. An astonishing amount!

I’m glad I enlisted! All I had to do was yell a lot during my interview. The only downside was that my interview was 8 weeks long!
