Job Interview Tomorrow!

Dear friends,

Please pray for me! I have a job interview tomorrow with a Senior caregiving facility. I have a good rapport already with the lady who I’m interviewing with since she has been trying to find a job for me since June. I thought my application had expired since I had not heard from her in a while, so I was going to send one in to update it, but I hadn’t done it yet. She called this afternoon and asked me to call her back (left a message) because she wanted me to have an interview!!! I have one tomorrow with her at 1pm!!!

I researched the job on the internet on their website, and I am going to pray really hard that I get it. I have a mock interview with the job counselor that I’ve been seeing to prepare me for the questions they may have, especially as to why I’ve been out of work for 2 1/2 years. The good thing is that I went to school from August-November 2008, so I don’t have a big gap. 😃

I’m going to Adoration today to plead with God to help me get this job! I’m so happy! :extrahappy:

Lord, I pray that CarmeliteGirl25 did excellent on her job interview today and gets the job. Bless her with this job, Lord - if it is the right one for her - and she’ll be able to glorify you and serve you will so much gratitude. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

God, our Father,
I turn to You seeking Your Divine help and guidance
as I look for suitable employment.
I need Your wisdom to guide my footsteps along the right path,
and to lead me to find the proper things to say
and do in this quest.
I wish to use the gifts and talents You have given me,
but I need the opportunity to do so with gainful employment.
Do not abandon me, dear Father, in this search,
but rather grant me this favor I seek
so that I may return to You with praise and thanksgiving
for your gracious assistance.
Grant this through Christ, our Lord.

Thank you all for your prayers. I went to the interview yesterday, and it was informal (in fact, I felt overdressed 😊). She asked me a series of questions about my experience and qualifications. I was a little inconclusive about whether or not I will get it, but I am praying for God’s will to be done. I wrote a follow-up/thank you letter which I am mailing today. I’m supposed to hear from the interviewer next week. 🙂

I also need your prayers again on a possible job interview next week on Sept. 30th. I’m going to post a second topic. 🙂
