Job Seeker Ministry

I am working with my parish to create a ministry to help Jo seekers develop the knowledge and skills they need to find gainful employment. Two questions:
  1. Step one is to grasp the charisms He has given us. Does anybody have any ideas on prayers, retreats or other methods to help people talk to Him to discern their economic purpose?
  2. Does anybody have experience with this type of ministry? I appreciate any guidance you can provide.

I might suggest you contact Holy Family Catholic Church in Rockford, Illinois which has what they call a “Re-employment Support Network” A man named Brian Vogrinc who is in the human resources industry started this network and he would be someone you might want to contact Holy Family phone # is 815-398-4280. Mr Vogrinc can be contacted at 815-394-1001. I hope this will help and Good luck in creating this type of ministry. It is certainly needed in this day and age!👍
