From what I read it sounds like the opinion of certain men. Not as a matter of policy. The “offending” priest was under no jurisdiction to their opinion.
Like I said, I agree that protocol should have been followed. But I don’t believe it’s an obligation for any priest any where.

That’s not in Canon Law, however, so the priest had no obligation to do it. You can quote people all day long, but it doesn’t change what Canon Law says.
If only Joe Biden didn’t support abortion, we wouldn’t be having this conversation.
