Ummm, all this basically says is that people involved in protests that block or interfere with physical access to abortion clinics cannot be prosecuted under Federal statutes. that is, people who coordinate these protests from organizations in various locales cannot be prosecuted as though they were organized crime.
People who interefere with a woman’s free travel and access to a clinic can and will be prosecuted under applicable STATE laws, such as harrassment, false imprisonment in instances covering physical restraint, and assault and/or battery. charges such as disorderly conduct/persons, failure to obey a peace officer/law enforcement, trespassing, resisting arrest, resisting arrest with violence, assult of a police officer ect. are also possible for people who willfully and forcefully disobey law enforcement’s commands to keep a clear path.
and lately, it seems like police will shoot anyone for just about anything, so i wouldnt want to be the one in the middle of a heated protest making the cops very mad.
