Do you have a reference for this?Add to that the interview on Larry King:
LK: Do you think abortion is wrong?
JO: I don’t know, Lar-r-r-y.
LK: Do you think homosexuality is wrong?
JO: I don’t know, Lar-r-r-y.
LK: How about premarital sex?
JO: I really don’t know, Lar-r-r-y.
Seems there’s much Mr. Osteen doesn’t know. I wouldn’t want someone with that much uncertainty guiding my spiritual life.
I’m sure you could find the transcript on Larry’s website.Do you have a reference for this?
Lying!Oh, let us not be too hard on ol’ Joel. I enjoy listening to him from time to time. He is like a Norman Vincent Peale of evangelicals and brings a very positive message to his listeners. I don’t always agree with the thrust of his message, but look at all those people who come to his services. What is he doing that we aren’t??
Telling people what they want to hear rather than what they need to hear.Oh, let us not be too hard on ol’ Joel. I enjoy listening to him from time to time. I totally disagree with this… there have been plenty of people whose life was a Godly witness by the sheer fact that they had faith through all of their misfortune… even back in Biblical time… what about Job? and there are modern witnesses too… the girl who was terribly ill and in pain that had a statue of Mary that excreted holy oil… or Padre Pio… they were sick and in terrible pain but were an inspiration to many. How about what Jesus told his disciples when he sent them forth… don’t take money… depend on the love and generosity of others for your food and shelter. I have been to poor churches and rich churches… the rich ones may be pretty but the poor ones have love and faith that is unsurpassed. Not saying you can’t have that in a rich church but it always seems to me more genuine in those poor mission churches…The problem with many catholics is , they kinda of misunderstood the meaning of prospering in health and financial…Before everyone who starts to deny about a pastor teaching, is best to too look into themselves…what is their vocation ?..unless you’re given an authority to judge others, then please step forward to do so in public, if not…please be careful of sinning through words…words from mouth can praise God while it too produce poison as well.
For any reason if any catholics here would able to tell me how can you serve God’s kingdom if you’re forever down with sickness ? Can you plant more churches if you can’t have enough to give offering ? Perhaps we should all pray that we are to be more sicky in order to serve God’s kingdom, more poorer to be more spiritual so that more churches will come falling down from heaven …Please !!! if we don’t understand about anything that seem to be out of place, ask for wisdom from God to be bestow onto you then muttering around to label others as XXX !!
yet calling themselves christ believer while talking behind other’s backcontradict to God’s teaching as well…
If you don’t like him, then don’t listen to his preaching…does bible teaches us to put others off just to demonstrate our righteousness!!! One must not be too prideful to think they are being humble by doing that and proclaim what they learn from church is true and hence have all the rights to bad mouth of others…Beware!!! about what each of us are saying!!!
As christians we have a duty to point out false teachers that claim the same faith in Christ but teach and preach a gospel that is not of Christ. The problem with many catholics is , they kinda of misunderstood the meaning of prospering in health and financial…Before everyone who starts to deny about a pastor teaching, is best to too look into themselves…what is their vocation ?..unless you’re given an authority to judge others, then please step forward to do so in public, if not…please be careful of sinning through words…words from mouth can praise God while it too produce poison as well.

Thanks for the link. Here’s something from that interview that I found pretty interesting.
I counted the number of times he said “I don’t know” in that interview. He said it 45 times!I’m sorry but pretty nausiating. I don’t understand how someone who “doesn’t know” so much can draw so much attention. All show no substance.
But I didn’t find anywhere he said he didn’t know homosexuality etc. are sins or any of that, he just says “I don’t know” a lot. Maybe where he lives it’s like here, and “I don’t know” is how people start most of what they say. It doesn’t literally mean “I have no knowledge on that subject.” It means “I don’t know how to say this politely, but I’ll try”, or “I don’t know the exact words for what I mean so be patient while I search for them,” or “I don’t know why I have to explain something so basic, but here goes”, and stuff like that.I counted the number of times he said “I don’t know” in that interview. He said it 45 times!
Yes!!! Precisely!!As christians we have a duty to point out false teachers that claim the same faith in Christ but teach and preach a gospel that is not of Christ.
The emotional feelings gospel, the health and wealth gospel, are opposed to the teachings of Christ no matter what the intent of the preacher is. It leads the unlearned in Christ to a different and wrong understanding of faith.
Like I said, It is our duty as christians to point this out, lest someone should be decieved to believe in false doctines.

He is easy, and people like easy these days. Sad - but easy doesn’t get you to heaven. Ask the martyrs in heaven.

=:heaven: …not $$$$$$$$.Huh? we don’t need to plant more churches ?? are you pretty sure that is God’s will, planting more churches is building up his kingdom, we are to stand forth to spread his message to all nations, churches is the home to all believers, imagine there are still places on earth where pple have not even step into a church. We are send by God to do his, without the help of our early fathers/missionaries, etc you and are won’t even have a church/parish to go for service and mass. Just like without school how can we learn…on the other hand we as members to our own church/parish need to strengthen our base, yet on the other hand, it is our destiny as believers to build his kingdom…While i do not agree with you, that we are called not to plant churches…it just doesn’t make sense to just keep our faith without our own comfort zoneI totally disagree with this… there have been plenty of people whose life was a Godly witness by the sheer fact that they had faith through all of their misfortune… even back in Biblical time… what about Job? and there are modern witnesses too… the girl who was terribly ill and in pain that had a statue of Mary that excreted holy oil… or Padre Pio… they were sick and in terrible pain but were an inspiration to many. While i totally understand the teaching on suffering, where each of us will encounter trials in different stages of life to make us more stronger, however that does not mean that by prospering our life means we are of lesser faith and do not fully embraces ourselves with suffering. Our faith does not tie to what kind of church/parish you attend. It is your heart that count the most to God. I have being to both mega and small churches, both have mediocre and on fire believers, therefore we don’t deduced that only small churches believers are genuine…that is not entirely true.
Besides… who says we need to “plant more churches” maybe we just need to support the ones we have. Instead of building a new one every time we decide we don’t like what we hear maybe we should ask God to help us reconcile our will to his.
While i do understand we are empower by God to do certain thing, however unless we truly know our vocation, the duty to testify other preachers comes from church leaders themselves, not members like us who are still struggles with our faith. Because, unless you’re pretty sure that your righteousness is of higher then your leader then we are called to testify false teaching, otherwise we don’t even realizing it that we are execrising our own wrong power upon others. For many who believes Joel’s teaching is false, then let the leaders above us to testify them and confirming that all members should stop listening to his false teaching. As christians we have a duty to point out false teachers that claim the same faith in Christ but teach and preach a gospel that is not of Christ.
