Have you ever watch or been to his church,he is a very good spreaker and never talks about God he is all about ,money he is always talk about money,financially successful., Its always finanially successful and if you pray to God you well get money,
Some preacer in Texas was trying to get him out of town,did not work They said it was because he was not preacher of God .But I think it was because he was taking to much from the church and they was up set because he does not even have one degree,.
I watch him the last two weeks and he use God name two time in two.but talked about finanially successful and his wifes record,he had a whole list of book he was selling but NOT much of God.

Joel Osteen is nothing but another in a long line of con men preaching anything but Christ to a deceived population looking for something “uplifting” but not dogmatic or serious because they’re turned off by and.or afraid of real religion. I live in Houston and saw the transformation of the Compaq center. I found it odd that blazooned on the side of the bldg. a huge sign Joel Osteen Ministries. I’m more used to seeing honorable people whom have passed away on blgds. such as St. Anne, St. George, etc.

Saw the Larry King interview and what bothered me by it is that when he was asked serious questions (doctrinal), his insistent reply was ‘I don’t know.’ Given the perfect opportunity to draw the line for thousands of his followers he doesn’t take it and simply leaves it up in the air. IMHO if he’s leading that many people, he should know.

On the other hand, people who need the pep talk and improve their lives and start a relationship with Christ via Osteen is a good thing.

Is Joel Osteen doing that? I’ve looked at a couple of his books (just the synopsis) and it seems like Mr. Osteen preaches that God wants us to be financially successful. Is this true??? I really don’t see that message in any of the gospels. Matter of fact, I feel that runs contrary to what Jesus preaches.

How did it all of a sudden become about me being ordained. I don’t like the way he preaches and don’t believe in his ways. But that wasn’t good enough, NO lets attack rev kevin for being ordained. Your on a Catholic website calling Catholics vultures for defending their faith… your question has been answered Jesus who ordained Peter our first holy father on earth has succeeded in ordaining all of our bishops to modern times. In other words Catholic apostolic succession is what gives her her authority… so who’s authority???
