How does John 11:25-26 corresponds to mortal sin if we can ask Jesus for forgiveness. I heard people can go to hell from mortal sin. What if that person asked for forgiveness by saying sorry to Jesus.

Those who sin but repent can be forgiven. This is true even if the sin is one that would lead to damnation if not repented.

Martha said to him, “I know he will rise, in the resurrection on the last day.” Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
The meaning of “lives and believes in me” has to be unfolded.

You have answered your own question. See Luke 23:42-43, the good thief on the cross did exactly this, repented and was forgiven.
