So I’m sure we have more than a few avid Sports fans on the forums, but I was interested in seeing if anyone is good to jump on board on this one. I know we’ve all seen the John 3:16 at sports games, but I think we as Catholic Christians should have our own version of John 3:16. Any ideas? Anyone with me?

You could try one of the Deuterocanonical books. 😃

John 3:16 says pretty much the same thing in all translations of the Bible.

Nope! Read all of Chapter 3, especally verse 17.

I use the Comparative Study Bible by Zondervan Publishing House. It’s a parallel Bible with the New International Version, New American Standard Bible, Amplified Bible, and King James Version Version all on the same page.

They are all pretty much the same, but I prefer the King James Version if I am using one Version as a stand alone.

what about John 6:53. Next game I go to I’m bringing a John 6:53 sign.
