"You yourself bear me witness, that I sad I am not the Christ,"but, "I have been sent before Him."

I’m quite confuse, can anyone tell me what does it mean?
Who said this? Jesus or John?

You have misquoted the verse, “said” not sad. And it is John the Baptist.

**You yourselves do bear me witness that I said that I am not Christ, but that I am sent before him. **
 
John the Baptist was the one of whom Isaiah spoke in Isa 40:3. I’ve always loved the KJV version:
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness: “Prepare ye the way of the Lord! Make straight in the desert a highway for our God!”

That’s why he says “I am not Christ, but that I am sent before him.”

It’s John the Baptist. 🙂
Here’s an advice, Artemus86: try to read the Bible by chapters instead of by verses (better yet, try to read a whole book). That way, you can see the verses in context. The Bible was not originally written with chapter-and-verse divisions, after all.
