John 3:5 simple meaning

I find it interesting that neither BA or SB have responded to my Pre-Tridentine-by-at-least-a-millenium quotes regarding the composition of the Old Testament and the inclusion of the Deuterocanonical Books.

sorry guy, but your question is not biblical. It never is and you seem to be stuck on it. Biblical refers to scripture.

If you would like to think that I am missing 6 books and that you have 6 books of extra knowledge then use it. Meanwhile I will use the King James Version of the Bible, and refer to that.

I mean I just want to look at questions about scripture and biblical applications because that is what i know and that is the most important thing. Salvation.

Actually, the original KJV included the deuterocanonical books…

You kept claiming that the Deuterocanonical Books were ‘added’ at the Council of Trent. I just showed you evidence to the exact contrary. You have just been shown to be incorrect in your facts. At least be man enough to acknowledge and not just try to shift subjects. It only makes you look foolish, like a man cornered and grasping at straws.

That was somebody else. I never engaged anybody about deuterocanonical books and what council did what.

there was a misunderstanding.

Absolutely right, fbl9. Not only were they quoted by the prefix St. but the whole New Testament was based on the Textus Receptus, which was a Catholic manuscript written by Erasmus, a Catholic Priest. The Old Testament was primarily taken from the Septuagint and it included the Deuterocanonical Books though they were under the title of “Apocrypha.”
