“The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son,”

Can somebody please explain this to me? I know that Jesus will judge the living and the dead, but I’m having trouble putting this into clear-cut terms for myself. If the Father judges no one, then why do we pray to Him for forgiveness, instead of just Christ?
Just another Trinity confusion lol

Because only the Son knows and reveals the Father.
Jsus told the Jews rejecting Him that the Queen of the south will rise up and judge them for she listened to Solomon and Jeusus is greater than Solomon. The queen of Sheba’s life was made visible and remained in the memories of the Jewish culture. She is an example that will make any claim of blameless ignorance mute. The Father’s goodness was made manifest through the Queen of Sheba by the power of the Holy Spirit and will judge the sin of rejecting Jesus committed by those Jews but judgement will be delivered to them by her not the Father. .

Jesus told the Apostles they will sit on thrones and judge angels. So you see even though judgement originates in the Father there is no Person who knows Him personally who will be judged since no one who knows Hinm has sinned.🙂

God, being Creator of the world, is the supreme Judge of all creation. He alone can know with absolute certainty whether the people and things he has created achieve the end he has envisaged for them. Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Word, has received divine authority (cf. Mt 11:27; 28:18; Dan 7:14), including authority to judge mankind. Now, it is God’s will that everyone should be saved:Christ did not come to condemn the world but to save it (cf. Jn 12:47). Only someone who refuses to accept the divine mission of the Son puts himself outside the pale of salvation.

The previous posts have a bit of the puzzle, actually this means that the Word of God, which is Christ in the flesh, which is also the bible, is the Law of God. The Word of God is the Law of God, Gods perfect Law, and the Law, that is the Word, will judge you because the Law is already the Law, and the law was made for those who are in sin. As the law judges you, your whole life is a testament to that judgment. Everyday, every action, is already judged by the Law, which is the word, which is already established, and will last forever. And that sin will keep stacking up, sin upon sin, never to be resolved by anybody escept Christ during His good pleasure, **IFFF **HE wills it. And the wages of sin is death. and it is appointed to man to die once then the judgment.

On the last day, those who are dead, will not be raised again for judgment, their life has already been a judgment, and it is only appointed to man, to die once, then the judgment. So if you die unsaved, the law has already judged you and you are going to be under the wrath of God, which is to be destroyed by God never to return to consciensness. On the last day those who are dead in Christ, will be thrown out of their graves as we read in Math 24 and other places, these people who are dead, will not feel this happen, they will not know they have been thrown out of their graves, and this final act of God is the final great shame to be put forth upon them. As it is a great shame to be thrown out of your grave for all to see and know… TO KNOW, that they are under that wrath of God.

In which case the Queen of the South, Sheeba, as well as the Ninevah, are to be a judgment unto us, as they lived thier whole life contrary to God, and in sin, yet when they heard the word, because faith come by hearing and hearing by the word of God, then that word was applied to their heart BY CHRIST… They did nothing of their own. God was the one who made them repent, and so this is a judgment to us because they heard the word and believed, and those who die unsaved who heard the word and didnt’ trust, will be shamed by this fact for all to see. They did not choose to believe the word, as we read no man can come to the Father, except if God draws him. meaning if it is God’s will, and during Gods good pleasure, that word will be applied to your heart and your sins will be paid for. This can only happen if we get on our knees and beg God for mercy, if we pray, oh God, I know i am a sinner, I deserve hell, I am nothing, but please, please have mercy on Me. Please open my eyes, please help me to be with you. Because I can’t do it on my own, I need you to save me.

Like the publican who smote his breast and would dare not look up into heaven, yet cried out begging for mercy, this is a picture of how we are to approach God. Broken and begging for mercy. Like Ninevah who heard the word by Jonah and believed, and sat in sackcloth in ashes for 40 days, which is a picture of becoming broken before God. Now it wasn’t their desire or will to become broken, it WAS GOD who drew them to beg for mercy, it was God who drew them to become broken. All Gods work. What happenes when a person trusts in the bible and the word of God is that they will begin to have an intense desire to do the will of God, which of course God also gave them, And so, on this front, this is the ONLY indicator that a person is saved. The ONLY WAY to hope that you might be saved, is if you have an earnest and intense desire to be in the word, to do His will, and if you feel great shame and guilt when you sin and you never want to sin again, of course we will sin, our bodeis are sin, yet this is only an INDICATOR that MAYBE we are saved. All Gods work. Even a baptism is work that we do, and will not be a precondition for salvation. The work has to be done by Christ, and you have to trust the bible to recognise this fact.

On the last day, those who are true believers, have already been judged, because they have recieved their new resureccted souls already, and so their sin has been paid for by Christ already. Though a person may still sin because our physical body is still desiring of sin, it is our resurrected soul that is clean, in war with our body which is sin. For the true believer, they will have an intense… INTENSE… Desire to be in the Word of God and walk a path accordingly obeying the laws of the bible and if they sin, they will feel great guilit and shame and try their best to rectify it and walk accordingly.

So you see, it is the word of God, the bible, which is a judge unto you, already.

Also, the Son, the Father, and the Holy Spirit are the same entity as we know, So this can be a little confusing upon a first look, yet The Father, which was and is the word, is the same as Christ who is and was the word from the beginning. It is Gods perfect law, and Gods perfect law is Christ, who was a demonstration of fulfiling that perfect law, and so it is the Law which has already been established that will judge you. unless you are reborn again in which case the law does not apply to you, because the law is a condemnation unto us, all of us, who are born into sin, we need this law to know how to walk with God, IF God so deseires that we walk with God.

A very good indicator to know if you are a child of God, is to be intensely desiring of His word, and as we are in His word if we learn something that is contrary to the ideals and doctrine that we hold so dear, then it is our GGOOD PLEASURE, to repent, to say I have been living contrary to you Oh God, I am so happy you opened my eyes enough to see that I need correction here on this doctine, and I am so happy that you did so. A true child of God will change his doctrine if he finds it contrary to God because the true child seeks God and that is only is God so wills it. So beg for mercy and pray that you can be changed by God, that He will give you a desire to trust in His word.

Because Faith, and believeing are also works, and they will get you nothing, unless God puts it in you, in which case this is a good indicator that you are a believer, because your faith and belief is not YOURS… it is Christ’s in you… Recognize this first and foremost, and move past the milk of the word onto the meat of the word.

And be like the faithful Boreans who upon hearing doctrine, studied the bible searching to know if these things were true. They didn’t take anybodies word for it, they searched the scripture, that is the bible, to compare the teaching with the biblical teaching. which is the ultimate authority.

Continue in the word of God.
