John Dowd resigned Thursday as President Donald Trump’s lead attorney in the special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
Dowd ultimately concluded that Mr. Trump was increasingly ignoring his advice.
I can’t say I blame Dowd. When your client thinks he knows better and ignores advice, it was probably time to depart ways. Afterall, the president before he became president, did tell the American people he knew more than the generals and that only he could fix it. So not surprising that someone with such a mindset and high opinion of himself, would ignore advice.
