I hope I am not misunderstanding the text here but it definitely reflects schism.

People will do themselves a big favor by visiting www.hebrewcatholic.org…and read where they actually are. These wanted to be baptized into the life of Christ. As Catholic Jews they are now more Jewish than before…

I am Irish…and I don’t loose that.

The Jews who find fulfillment are bring us their ethnicity…of over 5,000 years of fidelity to God and His Word…and to bring this ethnicity…and solidity of the world’s greatest people of faith…is a great blessing indeed. They believe in Jesus just as we do, and they have talks you can download on Israel and the Church.

Who taught you this, and which Evangelicals, specifically, are you saying want the conflict to continue??? What I do hear, from Evangelicals, is “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem”, not “pray for the conflict to continue”.

Some Evangelicals and some fundamentalists do oppose a two state solution. As far as I’ve seen, they base this on the boundaries of the land given in the Abrahamic covenant, in which God caused Abraham to fall asleep while He alone walked between the animal halves, thereby setting up what may be considered an unconditional covenant. Therefore, these particular Evangelicals and fundamentalists believe Israel would be showing a lack of faith in God if they gave up some land to a two state solution. I, along with many Evangelicals, disagree with this line of reasoning when it’s used to support an opposition to a two state solution, since the land defined in the Abrahamic covenant was given to all of Abraham’s descendants, not just the Jews.
 
About the Catholic Church not thinking the Muslims don’t need Christ…that is totally out of context.

The entire world needs Christ, this the synopsis of Catholic teaching.

What Vatican II is actually doing is showing respect for other religions. Nowhere in Catholic teaching does it state, either in the Councils or in the Roman Catholic Catechism that Islam doesn’t need Christ.

But we have to always have context…it is free will. There are the goats and the sheeps, the goats being the independent ones, the sheep staying close to their shepherd, gentle and meek.

Jesus began His ministry at the shores of Galilea…early Jewish Christian believers were also called ‘Galileans’. Galilea is the place of entrance by formerly exiled Jews now returning to their homeland…but poor…Christ also said He came to heal the sick…

In every situation, you will have those who readily believe and those who do not…or those who take time to believe.

It is said in the Epistles that the Lord hardened the hearts of the Jews so the Gentiles could be saved…and it will be the one same Lord Who will open their eyes to faith in Christ in His time.

There are those, no matter what, who will refuse Christ, irregardless of their background.

The Church is the New Jerusalem in this time, but some day the Lord will provide us a New Jerusalem, a new heaven and earth.
