The game that they believe that Catholics worship idols (which is not true) because of the statues we have in our churches, the fact that we revere Mary (some think we worship her, which is NOT the case) and the issue of bread and wine turning into the body and blood of Christ. Hope that helps.

You know I totally agree with you. I’m on a mailing list about Sephardic Genealogy and he was a discussion topic recently. This list is a mix of people of different faiths, there are a lot of Catholics, many Jews and I guess some evangelicals, but it struck me as so absurd how many people defended his recent statements. Ugh.

The thing that annoyed me is that he has nothing to do with the subject of the list-- it’s genealogy, not religion-- and we spent two weeks discussing him.

Yes, I have seen him. This man is the biggest threat to Catholicism since Henry VIII.

I’ve seen him in various outtakes and clips. I also watched a clip of him at one of his Christians for Israel conferences. Half of what he says has no biblical basis. His books are nonsense, and yet people adore him, give him money and talk about him like he’s bigger than God.

That’s just terrible! Yes, he’s licking Jewish butt in hope of winning their divine adoration. Too bad that won’t get him into heaven!

Almost every Jew in Jerusalem would like to see his head on a table with a tomato stuck in his mouth. Jews aren’t pro-Christian - they’re anti!

I love the Jewish people, and pray for them as God commanded, but don’t be fooled; they definitely do not have our best interest at heart. Just ask the Rabbi of Jerusalem/Israel.

He hates us with a sincere passion. Including John Hagee’s Evangelical buddies.

Arg! John Hageee can go jump into a river for all I care. That man has brought more destruction than Martin Luther when he was still alive. Of course, now, Martin is the one to blame!

I don’t think Hagee is as anti-Catholic as he once was. He met with Catholic League’s Donahue

And this is just my personal opinion, but I think with his recent dialogs with a number of Catholics, it’s the start of a long conversion process to the Catholic Church. I see an honesty in him, and once he realizes he is not resting in truth, the cognitive dissonance will eventually force him into the light, as have gone countless other protestant ministers who seek truth.

It’s heartbreaking, indeed. My parents don’t want to become Catholic because there are too many “rules” and things you have to know in order to be Catholic. They’re not young anymore [my mother is 56, and my step-father is 47].

I just keep on praying that everything will become a revelations to them, and, that, they will not reject the ONLY true Church of Jesus Christ - the Roman Catholic Church.
