John the Baptist conceived on Yom Kippur?

I read someone claim that Christmas is dated the way it is because John the Baptist was conceived on Yom Kippur, and the scriptural evidence shows that simple math can date the rest of events from that date. But where does this claim come from that he was conceived on Yom Kippur?

It has to do with the information in Luke 1:5 that John the Baptist’s father Zacharias belonged to the priestly course of Abijah. There is no such thing as certain knowledge of the dates, but there have been numerous heroic attempts to do the math. I would have thought that John the Baptist was conceived on Rosh Hoshanna.
