My brother in law Johnny passed away at 6 this morning. Please pray for the repose of his soul (he was given last rites). Also please pray for his wife, my sister, that she will remain strong and be able to handle this. Also pray for me to do a good job in helping her get through this as she will be relying on me for advice on how to handle all of the things you have to do when this happens.

Praying. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, have mercy on Johny and on Johny’s family during this difficult time. Surround the family with your Holy Spirit that comfortig words coming from your very Sacred Heart console and be with all.

You and your wife have my sympathy and prayers.

I ask God for all the graces and consolation you both need to get through everything and will particularly remember your family and Johnny at Mass during the next several days especially.

Lay your hand upon Johnny’s family, O Lord, and let them lean into your love, protection, and guidance. Send them competent priests and compassionate funeral home workers and all else who deal with such matters. Send your Holy Spirit to comfort them, send your angels to minister to their tears. Amen.

Heaven weeps because your family has lost a loved one that was held so dear to you, yet we believe that Heaven also rejoices because another soul has been welcomed into God’s Kingdom. The Lord has finally relieved your brother-in-law of his suffering and brought him peace at last.

May Mary, our Mother, present Johnny to her Son. May God forgive Johnny of his sins and grant him everlasting life. Amen. :harp:

I’m so sorry. Praying for all the family, especially Johnny’s wife, and for Johnny’s soul to be at peace with Our Lord in Heaven.
