Hello to you all.

I have been very upset today because my Grandma has fallen victim for an evil scam. They rang her and pretended to be a charity and asked for donations. My Grandma is a good, generous women so she of course agreed to help. They told her they were going to set up monthly payment from her bank. She discovered today they have taken everything, all of her savings, the money left to her after my Grandpas passing. It was not really a charity but a terrible man who lied! I found out from looking on this website that other people have also been tricked by this evil 😦

Please join me in prayer for those who have been conned and please warn your neighbours of this terrible scam.

Praying for justice for your grandma, that she can get her money back and that the police will stop the man from doing this to others.

Here’s adding my prayer that your grandma gets her money back – all of it. And that this scammer receives the just punishment he deserves.

Here’s a warning to other kind-hearted, generous folks to avoid being ripped off: If you receive a phone call out of the blue asking for donations, politely refuse and hang up. Don’t give out financial information, credit card numbers, your social security number or any other information.

There are plenty of legitimate charities you can help out. Go onto their websites and learn about them, and check their reputations. Some are better than others. Find out what percentage of your donations actually go to the charitable cause they are claiming to help. If they don’t provide that information, don’t donate. The honest ones will tell you up front.

If someone calls claiming to be your grandchild in trouble and needing money, call your grandchild first and see if he or she needs the money. Don’t just agree to send any without first checking it out, as this is a favorite scam that con artists use.

It’s unfortunate there are so many people in the world who take advantage of the elderly. If in doubt, say no. It’s as simple as that.
 
I pray that God prevents this scammer from taking advantage of other people in the future and that He brings the scammer to justice. Amen.
 
I pray for your grandmother to recoup her money and the scammer be brought to justice.
I also pray for the soul of the scammer, that he repents and seeks forgiveness for his sins, and returns all the stolen funds.
