Yes, you might be being tested. Also, I was wondering if you’ve read anything by Scott Hahn and/or Patrick Madrid, for starters.

Keep staying close to God and looking for the truths of the Catholic Church. Get a solid list of recommended reading, and start saying a daily rosary. Keep posting here. There are some wise voices in these forums.

Turn over all your cares to the Lord, and He will be there for you, though He does things in His time as that way they will be done perfectly.

You warm my heart and encourage me to do better. Thank you.

And please remember, the Catholic Church is a hospital for sinners, we are not perfect here on this earth.

Also, I apologize for any Catholic who was less than kind and welcoming to you. That should never be.
 
Thank you all for your advice and prayers. I had a meeting with a priest and it was great. He will getting back to me about RCIA. There are 4 parishes that coordinate and he needs to contact someone. I feel very welcomed.
