Nope. Nothing sexual that I can recall. Certainly nothing pleasing to the eye. Trust me… no one enjoys anything in this movie.

It’s not meant to be enjoyed; it’s meant to make one think and reflect. It shows society at its most cruel, where a man who is down is kicked even further until he completely breaks down. It’s evrn made even more effective by Joaquin Phoenix’s acting.

And it made $543m overall. With only $55m as its budget, it already recouped the money 10x fast. Even if we factor in marketing and advertising expenses, I think it already got more than its investment back.

I saw it for the third time this weekend. Surprised the theater was still full. That is impressive for a movie these days. Definitely I’ll see it for a fourth time next weekend, and I doubt that it will be going out of theaters anytime soon.

And 500 million dollars spent on this movie went to who?

Imagine, if ten percent of all viewers were Catholic and instead put their money in the collection basket last week.

This movie does not appeal to me.
We may choose to see or not see this and other movies offered by Hollywood.

I’ll tell you one thing… the song “Smile” as sung by Jimmy Durante now and forever has a creep factor that simply wasn’t there before…

I thought it was a great movie, he’s a complete nut job .

But how comes in the end we felt sorry for him and could understand his frustration!!

The villain became some what a hero… Great screen writing.

You know the movie is a big hit when the location it was shot at has become an attraction as well:

Also, Joker is getting ready to cross $800m to become the highest grossing R-rated movie…

There were 2 icons of Mary , one of them being Mary of Kazan in his room . Did anyone catch it?

White Knight looks interesting. Seems like a one-shot so I might get it. Too bad there are talks of DC Comics eventually shutting down by Warner, which means an iconic company as well as iconic characters there might soon disappear.

This movie just won’t go away. $934m so far, and still number one in many countries. Joker is just impressive. Suddenly $1b isn’t so far away, and I can see it make history reaching it. It already made history by being the highest grossing R-rated film, all without the China factor.

Meanwhile, Terminator: Dark Fate bombs so hard. Proof that when you insult your audience, you better expect people running away.
