Joseph Smith claimed to be a Messenger/Prophet of Jesus only like Paul

Joseph Smith is actually a prohet in Islam. Some muslims thought Mohammad was the last, but in reallity the koran got their scriptures corrupted. So Joseph Smith fulfilled everything what was lost. Muhammad in reality went to india, and had no control over the writtings of him. Muhammad lived to 77 years and died there. But people in Mecca corrupted his true teachings. So Mormoms is the fullfilled religion of Islam. in my opinion

Well, the MORMONS would figure he was more like Paul. After all, Paul claimed to have seen/heard Jesus on the road to Damascas, and Joseph claimed to have seen Jesus and His Father appear to him.

Mohammad didn’t claim to have seen Christ at all.

Not to mention, of course, that the teachings of Mohammad and the teachings of Joseph Smith bear absolutely no resemblance to one another.

Of course, let’s not let little things like facts get in the way of a good fallacy by association, shall we?

The association is that both men claim things that did not happen!

I had a beer with both Gabriel and Moroni at O’Reillys, beside the Empire State in 2006! They were cracking me up with their petty competition as to who can gather the most fools, until I reminded then I still hold the record! Moroni insulted me about my horns being uneven and Gabe dissed my tail.

I jabbed them both with me trident and left them to pay the bill.

Fortunately or unfortunately this is true. Mohammad had no control over the writing of him. It is said as many as 200,000 hadeeths are written about him and about slightly less heard his last sermon. This is all false. Common sense and practicality tell us that there were not that many people in the seventh century desert Arabia let alone that number could gather at one time.

Most writings about Mohammad were made up by Mohammadans to back up their claim of the Quran.

The present Quran was not authorized by Mohammad. The writings were compiled much later after his death. Not all his sahaba heard everything and many of them died in a battle and the verses lost with them before the Quran was compiled by a certain Zaid Ibn Thibits. Caliph Uthman selected Zaid’s version as the official Quran of his empire and burnt the different versions from different regions. Zaid’s version was in Mohammad’s dialect. You have to imagine, if the Quran is really words of Allah recited verbatim how could it sound any diffferent and in many dialects?

Had Mohammad live today he may not recognize the Quran as the revelations that were given to him.

In my opinion.

I love Jesus but have no such affinity to Mohammad.

Mohammad & Smith
  • both claimed all Abrahamic rooted religions were wrong
  • both claimed an angel gave them scripture
  • both claimed polygamy is a divine institution
  • both received numerous “revelations” about themselves and how important they are
Paul
  • never claimed Judaism was apostate or wrong, quite the opposite
  • never claimed to receive scripture
  • taught marriage is between one man and one woman only
  • never received a revelation of his own importance
