Unless you are out and out obnoxious (and I seriously doubt you are), please don’t try and change your personality and your temperament! I’m always saddened by those who think someone who is more vocal and passionate about things is being unladylike or immodest. Some women may be more calm and docile, but some of us are fiery and outgoing by our God-given nature and temperament.** Now, I can see how one might want to work on not “flying off the handle” in a disagreement or “taking 5” before responding to someone else that’s being hostile, but I hope that no women ever thinks she needs to be docile and timid because some poor misguided person said that’s what consitutes modest or Christian behavior in a woman.**

As far as my personality - I’ve been told I have the gift of hospitality. I don’t have a problem blending in and meeting people in a new setting. This is an important characteristic and one I think is important to build fellowship in the church. I don’t want this part of me to change… 😉
