To put it another way, ignore the odious toads and they will go away.
We do.

However, the average secular, lazy American lapdog does not, and they are the majority. Sometimes, people need to be protected from themselves. Most people watching that show have the as much ability to be free, independent thinkers as your average baby lemming.

When a boxer wishes to win a fight, he directs his punches to the parts of the body that are the core of the opposition. The core, the root of Christianity is the Chruch, the Chruch that Christ started, our Catholic Church.

It’s no wonder the opposition would throw the hardest blows to Her. As awful as hearing these words are, the most important thing is to pray for and hope the persons throwing these punches can see inside themselves deep enough to understand why they are throwinng thier punches to the Head.

It’s further confirmation of the true Chruch. Unfortunatley at the expense of the perpertrators. Pray for her.
I agree. These attacks always reaffrim my commitment to the church because Satan treis his hardest to bring down those things closest to God. He will try his hardest to keep bringing the Church down with these senseless attacks but he will not prevail in bringing her down. Let all pray for those who don’t see the truth.

I do think it is important for ABC to know how inapporiate it is to have her speaking on their show in general. I mean the comments those women make like the new lady thinking that Chrisitanity is the oldest religion and was around before the Greeks and Romans just shows they don’t have a clue to history and the real world.

See the other thread on here that more specificially states how she indicated that all Saints were simply psychotic.

For comparison, take a look over at the Catholic News Agency web site for a story on a skit run by Public Radio International. This skit features deep-fried Eucharists with whipped cream and sprinkles. The story, datelined today (January 11, 2008) says the skit has been pulled. The url for the story is: catholicnewsagency.com/new.php?n=11416

I just sent in a complaint. Maybe if they get a few hundred, or thousand, they’ll finally do something. Maybe.

Well - for what it’s worth, they know how I feel now. I doubt it will make any difference.

May I ask why? What is wrong with providing public contact information of company sponsors to The View? Why try to prevent those of us who find it offensive to be called idol worshipers and polytheists from contacting sponsors of the program and informing them about the type of bigotry they are financially supporting?

It is time we put it to ABC is put out of it misery.
Ironically, ABC - owned by the Disney Company (yes, Mickey Mouse and all) - is billed as a family station. I don’t know what viewing areas you’re in but re-runs of older versions of NBC’s “E.R.” used to be on (two simultaneously) - late night on Saturdays (from 11:30 pm on). Once Disney got visibly involved (to this viewer anyway) - E.R. was gone, and really bad movies showed up - late night, prime time, any time. A real Mickey Mouse operation - which explains The View. (which, therefore, surprises me that Rosey got booted.)
