Depends on why you are watching her? To learn about doctrine? She is dangerous at times…be careful. I recall she once said:

After Jesus died, he descended into Hell where he was being tortured by demons.

I would say its bad for protestants to read Joyce Meyer is is no more than a self help guru that has made an excess of 100 million of her books that are barely Christian
 
Used to like her type. Can’t stomach them anymore. Read Catholic saints-truly edifying examples of Christian humility.

I agree. she has made a lot of money and before I converted I thought she must really be relevant, but there was always something about her that bothered me. fortunately, I converted to Catholicism and now I see that the televangelists all seem like self help gurus who make a lot of money.

when I was checking the channels one day, I noticed that joyce Meyers seemed to have had some kind of plastic surgery. especially around her mouth. she looked almost comical. it is sad that she has so many followers. I work at a retail store and I see so many people making so much money from writing books that are more self help than anything to do with Christianity. they all seem to be speaking empty words to me, but their bank accounts keep growing.

I’ll answer this question with one of my own: Why do some Catholics feel compelled to seek wisdom, truth and spiritual guidance from sources OUTSIDE the Catholic Church?

Blind men don’t go to movies and if you want to bake a cake you need the RIGHT ingredients. You don’t go to the hardware store looking for the eggs and butter.

There are literally thousands of good catholic books to read, the Bible being the first among them all!

Support your local catholic Bookstore. if you haven’t got one, find one.

I was switching the channels last night and there was a Leroy Jenkins who was doing some kind of healing crusade. he seemed to be in love with this power he had. I felt sorry for the people sitting in the audience. he didn’t even have a polished way of speaking.
how can people be taken in by these kind of pastors.

then I noticed joyce meyer was on. she seemed off her game too and the plastic surgery she had on her mouth makes her look almost obscene. it is comical. they had an advertisement for the Holy Land Experience and the Women of the Bible. the man portraying Jesus waltzed on stage surrounded by 4 women smiling and dressed like harem girls!!! it was really sad.
 
But just imagine for an instant if you could see inside to their souls.

I’m kinda dubious about it being ok for any Christian to listen to Joyce Meyer.

I don’t want to link to a rap video here, but “False Teachers” by Shai Linne is a pretty hard-hitting critique. You can find it on Youtube if you care to.

I watch her and have read some of her books. I don’t think she preaches a prosperity gospel but she does have the bucks and spends them. She also seems to be anti-organized religion.
