I offered to draw on support of my Archdiocese, but they refused. So I eventually got petitions, sent it to our state representative in the diocese, and the petition was sent to all the Catholic parishes for people to sign, and we finally got the referendum on the ballot.
:hug1: :blessyou: for all your efforts, that is really an example of a Christian person…
I witness Muslims all the time saying American Christians have no modesty…when it is the seculars are those they have seduced.
:sad_yes: but if they hear Christians like you, then certainly they would change their mind.

May God help & strength you in your efforts to live in a chastity way.

And share my story…it reflects so many across the country.

We are witnessing the apex of liberalism/socialism…

I hope to find strength and courage to get those in our community organization, which is secular, and also disgusted with this business and the apathy of this state…one or two of them to come with me.
I now have a digital camera. I can take a picture of the school bus when it comes into the porn shop parking lot…and take a picture of the bus with the children inside as it passes the window.

Send it to national news and say ‘this is the state of xxxx’…and see how far it values the environment…except when it comes to our children.

There is nothing better today than to teach our children purity…for the most part, mine are in the ways you criticize…

.

Why? Why should anyone have to put their work out anyplace in any medium for free?

If she must, then so must anyone who writes anything other than fiction. People like Scott Hahn, Patrick Madrid, Karl Keating, Chuck Swindoll, and any others who ‘want to get the word out’ about their Faith or favorite topic. Online. Free downloads of unabridged books for everyone to read.

Sorry, the world does not work that way, and authors have rights to earn a living as well. If you want to read FREE, that is what public libraries are for~~ just takes signing up for a card and filling out a request for the book.

But just for you:

They may not be complete, however.
Sorry for the ‘tone’. I read this entire forum, and I thank those who speak Truth, as you have done, Sybilla.

I was searching for Nonie and this forum page came up as one of the first page results in the search.

:tsktsk: No, not anything written should be free, ONLY the words of GOD should be free, Jesus said in (Matthew 10:8):
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Obviously, we disagree.

Nonie’s book are (as are Scott Hahn’s, Patrick Madrid’s, Rabbi David G Dalin’s, Chuck Swindoll’s, and so many others) Nonie’s words and work. Under your guidelines, all Bibles would need to be free, for they are ‘the words of GOD’.

Those who edited, printed, paid for the ink and paper, etc would not be paid, nor shiiping costs.

Again, they are ‘free’ at any library. If the local one doesn’t carry the books, they have ways of finding them through others who do, with inter-library loans.

God bless!

On Oct 3, 2009, I literally said “then that book in addition to selling as a hard-copy should be in soft-copy format free for download to anyone anywhere.

And I still believe that any religious book being sold as “Hard-Copy” should also be available for free on the Internet (as download or as viewing), so that people who cannot afford to buy or their country prohibits such books can read the words of God.
