Since their is an ongoing process now for sainthood for the pope is is possible or is their anything in place to find out if his body in uncorrupt. I would think the church would wait for many years but could it happen in not so distant future. For that matter how about Mother Treasea.

Well Papa John Paul In My Book Is Overflowing With The Fruits Of His Service, Yes, Even Today.

Of course they could check at some point if his body is incorrupt. No reason why they couldn’t. However, they’d probably wait long enough that the body would have had a chance to corrupt, so that if they find it hasn’t, it actually means something.

I read heard from someone involved in Bl. Mother Teresa’s cause that Mother Teresa will never be dug up. They said they found no need to do so.

As for John Paul II maybe they will dig him up (like Bl. John XXIII) and if he is not incorrupt, perhaps they will send part of him to Poland and leave the rest of him in the Vatican. Maybe his relics will be put on tour like St. Therese. However, it may take some years. However, incorruptability is not a major factor in canonization. It may just help speed up the process.
